Patterns
During my university years in 2016, I began using patterned textiles, which later led to creating ornamental compositions from my own motifs. I am interested in the transformative effect of repetition, as observed during the continuous repetition of a word. After a while, the original meaning disappears, leaving only the abstract resonance of the word. I consider the resulting monotonous rhythm as an infinite sketch, allows us to approach sacred spheres. The accumulation of identical sounds creates a saturated atmosphere with hypnotic effects that resembles timelessness. Moreover, patterns indicate the breakdown of the world into smaller units, revealing that everything is built from the same few elements.
